Terms
The terms for using this website. If you are after the terms that govern a Rilver or GoGobo account, each product has its own, and those are the ones that apply to you.
The short version
This is an information site about a company. Read it, link to it, quote it. The company details are accurate; everything else is given as it stands. Do not attack it. English law applies.
What these cover
These terms are between you and Ark Matter Ltd, and they cover your use of arkmatter.uk, the pages you are reading now. Using the site means you accept them.
They do not cover the products. Each has its own terms, which you agree to when you sign up, and those are what govern your account:
Where a product’s terms differ from these, the product’s terms win on anything to do with that product.
The site itself
The site is here to say who Ark Matter is and where to find its legal documents. It sells nothing, holds no account and asks you for nothing.
The company details page is a legal statement, and we keep it accurate. The product descriptions are summaries meant to introduce them. What a product actually does is set out in its own terms, not in a paragraph here.
Nothing here is an offer, a promise that a product will be released or keep any particular feature, or advice of any kind.
Using it
You may read these pages, link to them, and quote them.
You may not attack the site or the infrastructure behind it, try to reach anything that is not published here, or use it to distribute malware. If you have found a security fault, the security page tells you how to report it. Doing that in good faith is welcome, and it does not breach this paragraph.
Crawling at a sane rate is fine. It is a handful of static pages; there is no reason to hammer them.
Ownership
The text, design, mark and code of this site belong to Ark Matter Ltd. The names Ark Matter, Rilver and GoGobo, and the marks used with them, are ours.
Quote from these pages with attribution — in a review, an article, a piece of research, an app store submission — and you need no permission from us. Reproducing the site wholesale does, and so does using the names or marks in a way that suggests we endorse or are involved in something we are not.
Links out
We link to the products’ own sites, to Cloudflare and to the ICO. The product sites are ours and we are responsible for them. We are not responsible for what is on anyone else’s, and a link is not an endorsement of everything at the other end of it.
Liability
The site is provided as it stands. We do not promise it will always be available or free of errors, and so far as the law allows we exclude the implied warranties that would otherwise say we had.
We are not liable for loss arising from your use of this site, or from being unable to use it, except where that loss was a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms.
Nothing on this page limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else the law does not permit us to limit. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights stand whatever this page says.
Changes
These terms may change. When they do, the “last updated” date at the top changes with them, and the version on the site at the time you use it is the one that applies.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you keep the right to bring proceedings in your own courts, and the protections of your own local law are unaffected.
